About the Faris Foundation:
The Faris Foundation was founded by Farid Virani, with InLight Capital, after his son Faris was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, Ewing Sarcoma. Sadly, Faris passed away, but his legacy lives on through the foundation.
The Faris Foundation is dedicated to bringing brighter days and better treatments to children with cancer. Inspired by the words and “heartprint” of our Chief Angel Officer, Faris D. Virani, we strive to be bold, original, and transformative in all our efforts. Our work focuses on four key areas: childhood cancer research, creative arts programs at children’s cancer centers, public engagement and awareness around childhood cancer, and care packages for children with cancer.
