For it’s 18th year, InLight was a sponsor for the very first Community PedsCare Family VIP Area where they provided a private, quite, and relaxing space for all PedsCare families to unwind, relax, and enjoy some refreshments. It was truly a magical night seeing all the volunteers, staff, characters, families, and community come together for a great cause!
Halloween Doors has been operating for the past 18 years and provides a unique and inclusive event for families that are in the Community PedsCare program along with being open to community members in Jacksonville, FL. This special event is like Disney World during Halloween and provides a magical experience for those families that may not be able to participate in traditional Trick-or-Treating or Disney World itself. The event is where the magic is brought to life for all ages.
Since 2005, Halloween Doors & More has dazzled kids and kids at heart with a fantasy land full of whimsical storybook characters, superheroes, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun. Best of all, this “gala of a different sort” supports pediatric palliative and hospice care through Community PedsCare, a program of Community Hospice & Palliative Care.

Community PedsCare, is a pediatric palliative and hospice program for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. A program of Community Hospice & Palliative Care, delivered in collaboration with Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Nemours Children’s Specialty Care and the University of Florida- Jacksonville, Community PedsCare supports over 336 children and their families each year.
