InLight Real Estate Partners newest project, Deerpark Industrial Venture, was recently featured in the St. Augustine Record after the St. Johns County Commission advances $1.12 million incentive for S.R. 207 project.
The development includes space for distribution centers in two warehouse buildings, one at 291,200 square feet and the other at 131,040 square feet. The industrial project supports a St. Johns County government effort to attract new commercial development creating jobs for local residents.
InLight Managing Partner David Burch, intereviewed for the story, said:
“We came here because we love the community. It’s a great place to raise our family. And as people who worked in financial services and investments in Atlanta, we saw no reason we couldn’t do it here and do it really well,” Burch said. “And as you probably heard, the exodus of the Northeast financial hubs is coming down to warmer climates. And we see a great opportunity to build a node of that here in St. Johns County.”
