InLight Real Estate Partners To Develop 175,000 Square Foot Distribution Center In Temple Terrace, FL

Ponte Vedra Beach, FL – InLight Real Estate Partners is pleased to announce the start of construction on its first industrial project in the Tampa MSA.  The modern Class A, Rear Load distribution facility will sit on 15 acres in Temple Terrace, an infill distribution market in east Tampa.. Construction began on the project in March and final delivery is expected in early 2023.

The East Tampa Logistics Center is strategically located just west of SR 301, with  convenient access to both I-4, I-75 via the 4-lane state route. In addition, the Tampa International Airport is only 20 min, away and the Orlando International Airport is just over an hour drive from the site.

“Tampa Bay has seen a tremendous population growth in recent years and this trend is continuing. The city, however, has little to no available distribution space to keep up with the growth demands and nearly no land that is zoned for industrial,” said Jeff Berryhill, Managing Partner of the InLight Real Estate Partners. “The City of Temple Terrace is very pro-business and wonderful to work with. We’re building the perfect product for this market – suitable for single or multi-tenant use, for distribution or light manufacturing, and close to rooftops for both customers and employees.  Those all add up to an ideal project and a win-win for our partners and the local community.”

Upon completion, the distribution center will be 175,500 sq. ft. (225’ x 780’) with 32’ clear height, and feature 46 dock doors, 2 drive in doors, with an additional 41 trailer parking spaces and 121 passenger car parks. The facility will bring tremendous new employment opportunities for Temple Terrace and the surrounding communities, with potential tenants ranging from regional distributors to service-oriented companies. Additionally, the operations will drive new tax revenue for the City of Temple Terrace helping to fund future planned developments.
